Cadaret Grant clears stock, bond, and some mutual fund transactions through Pershing, an affiliate of The Bank of New York. Pershing is responsible for approximately 10% of the total daily volume on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and provides unlimited account protection.

Of this total, Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) provides $500,000 of coverage, including $100,000 claims for cash. The remaining coverage, on securities only, is provided by Pershing through a commercial insurer.*
